• Identify and improve the reporting process for financial closing, with a goal to produce closing reports at the earliest

• Has been leading the Financial reporting transformation program to redefine the reporting processes, solutions and system to enable user friendly and flexible reporting which can add value to the financial community

• Performed data integration from various financial systems to provide one stop shop for financial reporting

• Have been an accessory in the internal transformational initiative to redefine the focus of financial governance and performance based on geography

• On boarding financial community on new cloud based reporting solutions such as Qliksense for dashboarding and SAP analytics cloud for Forecasting and comments collection

Roles & Responsibilities

• System architect for BPA owned BPC/BI and SAP Analytics cloud applications, responsible for the Operation, enhancement and delivery of financial reporting and forecasting application for the Global Finance community

• Customer management such as request for new requirements, new solutions and effective communication by receiving and providing feedback and frequent Q&A sessions

• Team management activities such as onboard and set up of support teams in Barcelona, Rome and India based on requirements in the pipeline

• Stake holder management to keep other downstream /Upstream customers informed of changes, downtimes for upgrades by frequent communication and collaboration

• Technology Exploration to explore cloud-based solutions such as Qlik sense, SAP analytics cloud to bring all the latest technological offerings to our user base

• Content Management established a portal for the team to share and communicate information and also manage information related to applications, user and upcoming enhancements

• Business Analysis and Process simplification of the key Income statement and Cash flow processes

• Responsible for the financial reporting solutions for technical Operations, managing requirements, planning and delivering enhancements

• Impact assessment, planning and managing the migration of users from BEx reporting into Analysis for office for analytical reporting and into BPC for formatted reporting

• Automation of Month end Closing related loads, its validation and Deck Generation for every iteration

• Analysis and improvement of the existing Balance sheet review process simplifying the efforts of the customers and also the load on the system

• Pitching system-based solutions for manual processes in the team thus enabling efficiency of our customer and also increasing the reliability of our services provided to them

Roles & Responsibilities

• Promoted the onboarding of the BPC as a planning and reporting solution, by conducting workshops and business case demos

• Designed and developed the P&L and balance sheet forecast application

• Have rolled out the same application across various divisions in the client organization

• Have played a pivotal role in understanding the requirements of the business and tailor finishing the delivered solution to meet the various needs of the business

• Application migration to BPC primarily as a reporting solution with Custom architecture suitable for BPC as a reporting layer

• Designed and developed the Weekly sales forecast application, P&L forecast Application and Cost Planning application based on internal order and cost center.

• Developed an Internal Time sheet application using Integrated Planning to track resource efforts and automate billing.

• Was the Project manager for the rollout of Cost Planning application for all European markets

• Served as the single point of contact for IP based application support in the Client landscape

• Have developed Webi reports based on BI data with supporting dashboards based on BO dashboards

• Proposed and Implemented WAD based cockpit for IT, to manage, Monitor and trigger data loads from the Web

• Worked on the BW 3.5 platform to develop BW data model and reporting solution for the P2P module

• Worked on custom and standard extractors to extract data from ECC and then have them transformed to provide insightful info using BW reports
